Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century Sacred Vocal Music 
in Pennsylvania German Culture 

A Symposium Sponsored by the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania
 
Saturday, June 20, 2009, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
 
Deadline for Registration is Wednesday, June 17, 2009.
 
The symposium will focus on the history of sacred vocal music among various Pennsylvania Germans groups, featuring music of the “Church” Germans (Reformed and Lutheran) and the sectarian groups, which in the case of this program includes Mennonites, Brethren, Schwenkfelders, and the Ephrata Cloister
 
Speakers include: Dr. Don Yoder, Dr. Jeff Bach, Hedwig Durnbaugh, Dr. Daniel Grimminger, Dr. Allen Viehmeyer, Joel Alderfer and Candace Perry. 

Cost is $50 for attendees - includes Continental Breakfast and Lunch
$30 for students and senior citizens (over 65)
