[Announcements for the AMS]

The 2009 conference of the Canadian University Music Society (CUMS) will be held at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario from May 28th to 31st.  The conference is a part of the annual Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences, whose theme this year is Capital Connections: nation, terroir, territoire.  Along with a wide variety of papers, lecture-recitals and concerts, the Society will hold two joint sessions with the Canadian Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (CAML) and the Canadian Society for Aesthetics (CSA).
