[AMS-announce] CFP: AMS Pacific Southwest Chapter, May 2009

[Announcements for the AMS]

The spring 2009 meeting of the Pacific Southwest Chapter of the AMS will
be held at the University of California at Irvine, May 2-3.  Paper
proposals may be sent to Michael Arshagouni (arshagmh at lavc.edu) by March
27 for consideration. This meeting will feature the return, after a year's
hiatus, of the Dahl competition for graduate students in the west coast
Chapters, and a Saturday afternoon symposium honoring Colin Slim on his
