The Lyrica Society for Word-Music Relations is pleased to announce the 2009
Harvard-Lyrica Dialogues, to held this year at the annual conference of the
American Comparative Literature Association (<http://www.acla.org>www.acla.org), March 26-29.
Harvard is the hosting university.

The conference's general theme is "GLOBAL LANGUAGES, LOCAL CULTURES", and
Lyrica's seminar is entitled: "Revival and Survival: Opera, Song, Regionalism,
Pluralism, Nationalism"

Our three colloquia include ten lectures and will be held in the Seminar Room,
Dana Palmer House, at the Barker Center, Quincy Street, across from Lamont
Library.  All are welcome.
