[Announcements for the AMS]

The American Musicological Society South-Central Chapter is pleased to announce the
program for its 2009 meeting at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN on Friday and Saturday,
March 27-28.

In addition to an exciting line-up of papers, there will be a special guest performance.  The
COMIC INTERMEZZO will perform the NORTH AMERICAN PREMIERE of Orlandini’s Il marito
giocatore e la moglie bacchettona (The Gambling Husband and the Wife with the Big Stick)
with an interpolation of Mozart’s Musical Dice Game on Friday evening, March 27 at 8:00.
The performance is free and open to the public.
