Second International Conference on Minimalist Music
 
Registration is now open for the Second International Conference on Minimalist Music, to be held at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Conservatory of Music and Dance, September 2-6, 2009.  The conference will feature papers covering minimalism, postminimalism, totalism, and other related movements; plenary talks by Tom Johnson and Robert Carl; and performances by Mikel Rouse, Sarah Cahill, Kansas City’s newEar ensemble, Neely Bruce, and Charlemagne Palestine.
