Graduate students throughout North America are invited to submit paper proposals for the twentieth annual Pacific Northwest Graduate Student Conference, to be held October 3-4, 2009 at the University of Victoria.  

Presentations may cover a wide variety of topics, such as musicology, theory and analysis, music education, ethnomusicology, philosophy and aesthetics, and music cognition.  Presentation length should be approximately 20-25 minutes, followed by a brief question and answer period.

Please submit abstracts of no more than 250 words to [pnw2009 at uvic.ca].  The deadline for submission is July 31, 2009.
