You can find information concerning what is Linkedin here

Linkedin puts your CV on the web and is a great tool to introduce yourself and make professional connections.
The Musicology Research group is a great tool for any University or Institute that would like to post a job for musicologists. The members of the group also receive RSS feeds from other sources. Please do not hesitate to suggest RSS sources so that I can add them.
I would like to encourage you to join so that you can enjoy the benefits of Linkedin in general and our group in particular.
Please do not hesitate to write to me if you have any questions.
Many thanks,
Avior Byron
