Princeton University announces an opening for a tenure-track position in musicology at the level of assistant professor, to begin September 1, 2009. Completed Ph.D. required. We are seeking a specialist in twentieth-century music, either American or non-Western, with primary or secondary specialization in popular music (broadly defined), cinema music, and/or performance theory. Together with active research and publication, the position entails a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching, and to the performing arts.
