Music and Globalization Symposium and Concerts
Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, September 19-20, 2008
 
The Eastman Musicology Department presents a two-day event that focuses on issues of 
cultural self-representation through changing and overlapping musical styles.  The symposium will approach the subject through scholarly and creative work, and it will feature the music of Chinese-American composer Chen Yi.
