CFP: IAML Amsterdam 2009

The International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres (IAML) will hold its annual conference 5-10 July 2009 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This will be a joint meeting with the International Musicological Society (IMS). While IAML conferences do not have themes, the focus of the IMS Symposium will be "Music: Notation and Sound". The IAML Programme Committee invites proposals of papers for this meeting which concern music, collections, and/or library issues that focus on Dutch libraries, music, and publishers, although presentations of a general nature are also welcome. We strongly encourage the submission of papers that focus on popular or traditional music of all genres and periods and their impact on libraries. Proposals must be submitted by 1 OCTOBER 2008 in order to be considered.
