ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - MUSICOLOGY
DESCRIPTION: The Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University
seeks an energetic and collegial specialist in l9th- and 20th century
music, dedicated to innovative undergraduate and graduate teaching.
Responsibilities: Teach in the undergraduate music history sequence;
lead undergraduate and graduate seminars in specialized topics and
periods; direct Masters theses in musicology; maintain scholarly and
creative activity in area of expertise. Other duties to reflect the
candidates strengths and the departments needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An earned doctoral degree is required for the
Assistant Professor rank. Candidates who are ABD or currently pursuing
a doctoral degree may be considered for the instructor rank.
SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
