[AMS-announce] ANNOUNCEMENT: SMT CSW Web site updating

[Announcements for the AMS]

With the arrival of spring and the end of term, the Society of Music Theory's Committee for the Status of Women is doing some spring cleaning on its website, and would appreciate your input!

We have two major resources that require updating:

1. Our collection of syllabi from Women and Music courses

2. Our bibliography of sources related to women, gender, feminism, and music--particularly, the section on analyses of music by women composers.

You can access both of these documents through our website at http://societymusictheory.org/index.php?pid=1

These resources have the potential to serve as communal resources for all of us interested in women and music; to that end we would greatly appreciate any additions to both these areas. Feel free to send web links, citations, or documents (in .pdf or Word, please) to myself (rattas at interchange.ubc.ca) or to Daniel Sonenberg, our technical liason (dsonenberg at usm.maine.edu).
