This is to let you know about a very exciting jazz conference and festival we are organizing at Stony Brook called Brilliant Corners:  Jazz and Its Cultures.  The conference and concert dates are April 3-5, 2008.  An exhibition of jazz photographs and paintings called Pops to Lady Day:  Portraits in Jazz will run from April 1-May 9, 2008.
