Dear colleagues,

The New York State/St. Lawrence chapter of the AMS will hold its annual meeting at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, on  Saturday and Sunday, March 29-30, 2008.

The program, which is available by request sent to Deanna Phillips (dphillips AT <http://esm.rochester.edu>esm.rochester.edu), includes a keynote address by Neal Zaslaw of Cornell University. His talk is titled, "Facts, Factoids, and Myths about Da Ponte's and Mozart's Don Giovanni in Prague."  The other paper topics range from Renaissance songs and their sources to the Nineteenth-century "fin de siecle."
