The Renaissance Society of America will hold its annual meeting in Chicago, April 3-5, 2008.  This year's offerings in music are exceptionally rich:  13 sessions (3 papers each) exclusively on music and another 8-10 music papers in interdisciplinary sessions. Bob Kendrick has most generously invited all AMS members attending the meeting to a lunch hosted by the University of Chicago on Saturday, April 5, 12:15-1:45, at the Sopraffina restaurant, 111 E. Wacker, in the One Illinois Center building, about two blocks east of the Renaissance hotel (walk east along Wacker Drive).  If you plan to attend the lunch, please RSVP to Bob (rkendric_at_uchicago.edu) no later than March 25.
