2 Lectureships in Music, School of Academic Studies
Grade 8: £33,780 - £41,545 or Grade 9: £42,791 - £49,606  (Dependent on Experience)
Available from 1 September 2008

You will have completed a doctorate in a musical or music-related discipline, have a record of published research and/or evidence of substantial forthcoming publications, and definite plans for future research activity. Your research profile will maintain and enhance the RNCM's existing strengths in one or more of the following areas: performance; composition; musicology; empirical approaches to musical performance (including music psychology); performance practice; and editorial practice.  You will demonstrate an empathy with the core mission of the College, namely to develop practitioners for a career in the music profession in one of the world's leading conservatoires and you will be expected to enter into the vibrant community of the RNCM as an enthusiastic and innovative teacher of undergraduate, postgraduate and research students. Your research will be readily applicable in this context. You will be able to contribute to the maintenance and on-going development of the C

e's programmes of study.
