[AMS-announce] CONF: Music Theory Society of the Mid-Atlantic Meeting, Library of Congress, Washington, D.C., March 2008

The Music Theory Society of the Mid-Atlantic is pleased to announce the program for its 2008 meeting at the Library of Congress, Friday afternoon, March 28th, beginning at noon for conversation and refreshments, and 9:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m., Saturday, March 29th. 

Stephen Soderberg (ssod at loc.gov) and Susan Clermont are in charge of local arrangements.  There will be a Friday evening reception and banquet, at which the Dorothy Payne Award and Prize for the Best Graduate Student Paper (Philip Duker, University of Michigan) will be given. The Program Committee is chaired by Nancy Rao.
