British Postgraduate Musicology vol.9 now online

The editors of British Postgraduate Musicology are pleased to announce the publication online of Volume 9 <http://www.bpmonline.org.uk/bpm9/> of the journal. The new issue includes articles by Chiara Bertoglio, Rachel Brawn, Jonathan De Souza, Helen Gubbins and Eva Moreda Rodríguez, and covers such topics as female personae in old French song, music in Fascist Spain, Indeterminate Music, Giya Kancheli’s /Exil/, and a review of the Society for Musicology in Ireland’s 2006 conference. As always, the complete volume is available for free at our website, along with online back issues to 2001. 

BPM is an independent, peer-reviewed journal run by postgraduates for postgraduates. It aims to publish high-quality examples of work from the British postgraduate community, and provide a valuable experience of peer-reviewed publication to student musicologists.
