The Center for the Humanities at Washington University in St. Louis invite applications for a postdoctoral fellow under the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Sawyer Seminar for 2009-2010. The title of the program is How Deep Is the Ocean: The Rise and Fall of Jazz as Popular Music.
