[AMS-announce] JOB: Visiting Professor of Musicology/Choral Director, Dickinson College (PA)

DICKINSON COLLEGE.  One-year, full-time position (pending approval).  Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications.  Responsibilities: First semester, teach one musicological seminar (post-1750) and conduct the Dickinson College Choir (70 voices).  Second semester, teach music history survey (1750-2001), World Music or American Music, and conduct the choir.  Required: doctorate or ABD in musicology; demonstrated effectiveness as a classroom teacher and ensemble director; ability to work effectively within a strong liberal arts program.  Term: 7/01/2009 to 5/31/2010.
