Muhlenberg College, Assistant Professor of Music -

The Music Department at Muhlenberg College seeks an outstanding teacher who is a musicologist with strengths in the music of the Classical and Romantic periods and who is sympathetic to the mission and environment of a liberal arts college. Other areas of interest may include teaching in other historical periods, instrumental performance, conducting or teaching in any areas of music theory.  A successful record of teaching and the potential for outstanding scholarship is expected.  PhD required.  ABD candidates who are within one year of completion will be considered for appointment at the Lecturer rank.

Position starts Fall 2009. Application deadline is October 15, 2008
