I am writing on behalf of Kulturverlag Polzer, a cultural institution which publishes books and magazines related to music, culture and the world-renowned Salzburg music festival.

We would like to ask for your cooperation regarding the following matter:

We have recently published the second edition of the book “The Art of the Violin”, originally written and edited by Leopold Mozart himself, in contemporary English. 

Leopold Mozart was a composer, music teacher and violinist. He is best known today for being the father and teacher of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. His violin textbook “The Art of the Violin”, is a fundamental work for all violin students.

Mr. Donald Kahn, one of the principal sponsors of the Salzburg Festival and a worldwide patron of culture and art, has generously covered all production costs, which enables us to send a copy of the book to every music department or music school in the US, UK and Canada free of charge. There are no strings attached. All we require is the contact details of interested parties. Copies will be delivered to willing recipients in the middle of May.
