DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC, UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY. Assistant Professor tenure-track position for a scholar specializing in African American music or in another area in American music studies that contributes to the diversity of the Departments offerings. Start date: July 1, 2008. Except under unusual circumstances, applicants should have a Ph.D. or expect to hold one by the starting date.
