Ashgate Interdisciplinary Studies in Opera is designed to provide a centralized and prominent forum for the presentation of cutting-edge scholarship that draws on numerous disciplinary approaches to a wide range of subjects associated with the creation, performance, and reception of opera (and closely related genres) in various social, historical, and  geographical contexts. Both single author books and collections of essays will be considered for inclusion in the series.
