Assistant Professor-Tenure Track

Commencing Fall, 2008

PROVIDENCE COLLEGE - Full-time tenure-track position in piano and theory; duties to include teaching applied piano for majors, minors and non-majors, class piano I and/or II, various levels of music theory, and possibly other areas of expertise, as necessary to fill a 9 credit hour load per semester.  Start Date:  Fall, 2008.  In addition to teaching, all music faculty are expected to be productive as artists/scholars and to engage in departmental, university, and professional service.  At the time of application, candidates for this position should hold a D.M.A. or other doctorate in piano performance. A Ph.D. in theory is also acceptable as long as performance skills are current.
