Studia Musicologica now peer-reviewed

Studia Musicologica, the musicological journal of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, is forty-seven years old. In spite of its long
tradition, the journal needed reorganization. From Vol. 48 (2007) in the new series it rigorously follows the peer review standards. There
is a new Editorial Board and an international Advisory Board.

Studia Musicologica publishes longer studies, short essays, documentary papers, and reviews in English, French, and German in the field of musicology in the broadest sense, with special respect to subjects connected with the history of Hungarian music and folk (traditional) music.
