The Department of Musicology at UCLA seeks a scholar of extraordinary promise or accomplishment for a tenure-track or tenured position beginning
in Fall 2008. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. We seek candidates whose research specialties will enhance and complement the
expertise of our current faculty, and whose teaching or mentoring activities demonstrate a strong commitment to the needs of disadvantaged populations. Ph.D. should be in hand by Spring 2008. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.

Letters of reference should address the applicant's potential as a publishing scholar and provide evidence of successful teaching.
