[AMS-announce] CFP: Renaissance Society of America (Chicago, Apr 2008)- Additional information

Greetings!

After I issued the call for papers for the Renaissance Society of America
meeting, Ruth DeFord (rdeford at hunter.cuny.edu), the Discipline
Coordinator for Music for the Society
informed me that several panels are actually in the works for submission. My
assumption regarding the lack of musical sessions was informed only by what
I observed on the RSA website. I am heartened to know that there will likely
be a representative number of papers on music at the conference. To that
end, Dr. DeFord has graciously agreed to coordinate efforts and encourages
submissions for the panel I proposed on emulation and identity.
