[AMS-announce] CONF: AMS Allegheny Chapter, Indiana PA, March 30-31 2007

The spring meeting of the Allegheny Chapter of the American Musicological
Society will take place on March 30-31, 2007, at Indiana University of
Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA.  This will be a joint meeting with the
Niagara Chapter of the Society for Ethnomusicology and will feature a
plenary
address by Bruno Nettl. Paper sessions will begin at 2:00 Friday
afternoon, followed by a special concert by the Indiana Brass Band on
restored
19th-century brass instruments.  Three more paper sessions will follow
on Saturday.
