The Music and Theater Arts Section at MIT is seeking to hire a
tenure-track assistant professor, starting September 2008.
Position: Assistant Professor (tenure track)
Qualifications: Ph.D in musicology. Candidates should have
manifested excellence and potential for growth in at least one field
of Western musicology. Expertise in music theory, interdisciplinary
studies, composition or performance will also be taken into consideration.
Duties: Teach repertory subjects to undergraduates and coordinate

Starting date: September 2008
