Cardiff University school of music is seeking to appoint to a full-time lectureship an outstanding music scholar with expertise in popular music (including rock, jazz, folk and world music) and involving any related methodology (e.g. music analysis, cultural studies. critical theory and ethnomusicology). Depending on the stage of your career, you should either demonstrate strong research potential or have a proven record of publication.

This post is tenable from a date to be negotiated, but must be taken up by 1 September 2007.

Salary: £326402 - £331525 per annum
