[AMS-announce] ANNOUNCEMENT: Piano music of Babbitt in Manhattan

Next Spring I'm performing the complete solo piano music of Milton Babbitt
in 2 concerts in Manhattan. I believe it's a timely undertaking, hearing
later works like Tutte Le Corde alongside of his earlier serial expeditions
such as Partitions shows the extraordinary breadth of aesthetics he was able
to accomplish in an idiom not many people expected to be capable of such
flexibility.

If there are any depts. that might be interested in having one or both of
these programs please contact me and I would be happy to send press
materials.
