[AMS-announce] ANNOUNCEMENT: AMS call for nominations, AMS honorary/corresponding members, AMS council

Dear fellow members of the AMS:

A final reminder that any
suggestions for possible candidates for the at-large Council member
slate, as well as Honorary or Corresponding members and candidates to
succeed me as Secretary to Council, are due to the nominating
committee... er... last week.  :-)

As I understand it, the committees are still willing to consider
nominations (especially on the Honorary/Corresponding side), but will
be finalizing their slates in the coming week or two as they prepare
to forward them to me by their deadline.  If you have names you would
like to propose and have not yet done so, please send them *as soon
as possible* to the committee chairs, viz:

Nominating Committee for At-Large Membership and Council Secretary:

Nominating Committee for Honorary/Corresponding Membership:
       Denise Von Glahn <denise.vonglahn at music.fsu.edu>, Chair
