Music Theory and Musicology Society Conference, University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music 
Friday and Saturday, April 4th and 5th, 2008
Featuring keynote addresses by Richard Taruskin and Christopher Hasty

Students are invited to submit proposals for papers on any topic related to the broad fields of music theory or musicology. Paper presentations should be approximately 20–25 minutes in length. Proposals should be submitted in electronic form ONLY to ccm.mtms at gmail.com, as either a PDF or a Word document. 

Submissions must include the following:
* A proposal of no more than 500 words. It should include the title of the paper but exclude personal identifiers such as the author's name and institutional affiliation. It should be double-spaced and in a 12-point font. 

* An abstract of 200–300 words, suitable for inclusion in the conference program (if selected). 

* A cover letter that includes the title of the proposal; the author's name, institutional affiliation, address, phone number, and e-mail address; and a list of any equipment needed for the presentation ( e.g., stereo, overhead projector, etc.).

Proposals must be received on or before December 10, 2007.
