The Wellesley College Music Department seeks a scholar with strengths in two of the following three areas: Composition, Theory, and Ethnomusicology. This is a search at open rank but with preference for a tenured scholar. Applicants should describe the full range not only of their scholarly and musical interests, but also of their pedagogical and administrative capabilities. Our Department offers a major and minor in Music, as well as an outstanding Music Performance Program that provides students with individual and group lessons, and many ensemble performance opportunities.
