[AMS-announce] ANNUNCEMENT: Pacific Symphony Orchestra two-week Mexican festival

Dear AMSers:

The Pacific Symphony Orchestra's two-week Mexican festival, "Los Sonidos
de Mexico," starts this Sunday.

Participants include the music historian Leonora Saavedra, Gregorio Luke
(director of Museum of Latin American Art, Long Beach), composers Daniel
Catan and Ana Lara, guitarists Roberto Limon and Pepe Romero, conductors
Carl St. Clair and Enrique Diemecke, etc.

There are six concerts, with orchestral and chamber music by Rosas,
Castro, Ponce (lots), Chavez, Revueltas, Lara, Marquez, etc.
