Position Announcement

Music History 

Position:  Music History - Tenure Track 

Rank: Assistant Professor 

Salary:   Commensurate with experience 

Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in music history and a general education world music course, supervise graduate and undergraduate honors theses, and assist with the coordination and development of the graduate and undergraduate curricula. Other duties may be assigned depending on the candidate’s qualifications and departmental need. 

Qualifications: Doctorate at or near completion in Musicology required. An engaging classroom manner, expertise in the use of instructional technology, and a strong commitment to research/creative activity are essential.
