Associate Professor of Music.
The Music Department of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks to complement and enhance its strengths in musicology (broadly defined) by filling a position at the rank of Associate Professor. The scholarly mission of the Department is described at <http://music.unc.edu>. Applicants research interests should concern issues of gender and identity, within but not necessarily limited to one or more of the following areas: African American, Asian American, Latina/o, Womens, or Gay and Lesbian Studies. Applicants must have a substantial record of scholarly publication and of excellent classroom teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research, service, and teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level; a PhD is required.
