ANNOUNCES A FULL-TIME TENURE-TRACK POSITION
MUSICOLOGY
RANK/SALARY: Assistant Professor, salary commensurate with experience.
DUTIES: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in 19th and 20th Century Music History and others according to curricular needs of the School; some supervision of senior and graduate projects for musicology majors; maintain a record of scholarship/publication that indicates continuing growth and national visibility; committee assignments and professional service contributions are also expected. The typical annual teaching load for music faculty is 5 courses divided over 2 semesters.
QUALIFICATIONS: Specialist in 19th or 20th Century Music; Ph.D. in Musicology (ABD considered); strong commitment to teaching and research; evidence of successful university-level teaching; scholarly research.
