Heather Professorship of Music

Applications are invited for the Heather Professorship of Music, tenable
from 1 October 2007 or as soon as possible thereafter. The University 
seeks candidates with an outstanding international reputation in musical
scholarship (encompassing one or more of: history, theory, analysis,
composition, performance, and ethnomusicology). The professorship will 
be held in conjunction with a Professorial Fellowship at Wadham College. 
The Heather Professor is expected to provide research leadership, and to be
involved in the strategic development of the Faculty.
